Child Collaborative Problem Solving Program
The Ridge
Child unit offers specialized treatment for children, ages 5 through
11, who are experiencing severe emotional or behavioral problems.
Through a structured and individualized program, children learn how
to deal with their emotions and channel their energies positively.
The Ridge
recognizes that many children who present with mood instability,
aggression, and out of control behavior have also experienced some
form of trauma in their life. Because of this, our staff utilizes
the CPS approach. CPS is an evidence-based approach used to
assist children with learning critical thinking skills to help them
better manage triggers they may experience that may often lead to
maladaptive behavior.
